What a fantastic weekend away for our Y5 & 6 girls at the Prep 4 Sport Girls Football Tournament at St George’s Park.
After making it into the Plate competition, the girls ended up coming runners up in second place which is such a great achievement considering their experience level in competitive girls football fixtures.
A special mention to Veronika, who won the Golden Glove Award for the whole competition as the player who all the referees and officials thought was the best goalkeeper throughout the tournament.
The girls’ attitudes were exemplary throughout and they showed amazing support for each other in every game, win or lose.
