Our Buddy System

Developing strong relationships with children of all ages is a key consideration at Chepstow House. Through our House System children have the opportunity to meet up with younger and older children and complete fun activities away from the classroom. Our Buddy System is another core element in our school life. Three classes are buddied up, with an emphasis on allowing children to work with others who are younger and older than themselves. Buddy groups meet up for a variety of reasons:

• To provide mentoring opportunities
• Reading groups
• Celebrating each other’s work
• Supporting class work
• Having fun on the playground
