A Word from Our Head

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our school’s website. As Head of Chepstow House, I am proud to lead a community that values each and every member, whether they are a child, parent or staff.

Our school is built upon a family community ethos, in which everyone is welcomed, respected and encouraged to grow. We believe in fostering a supportive and nurturing environment, where children can develop their academic, social and emotional skills, and reach their full potential.

At Chepstow House, we strive for sustainable learning. Students are taught to think critically and creatively about the world around them. We are committed to providing a curriculum that is both challenging and engaging, preparing our children for a successful future beyond the classroom.

We are also proud to deliver fantastic results for our students’ transition into senior school. Our children are well-prepared for the next stage of their academic journey, and we are delighted to see them go on to excel at a wide variety of London day and boarding schools.

However, we recognise that academic achievement is not the only measure of success. We place a strong emphasis on the wellbeing of individual children, helping them to develop their self-esteem, resilience and emotional intelligence. We believe that a happy and healthy child is better equipped to succeed in all areas of their life.

At Chepstow House, we understand the importance of parents in the education of their children, recognising that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for supporting student learning and wellbeing.

Thank you for considering Chepstow House as a place of learning for your child. I invite you to explore our website further and discover the unique qualities that make our school community so special.

Inspiring Curriculum

A Holistic, Flexible and Inspiring Curriculum

Our exceptional curriculum offers a secure and imaginative basis for academic success between Reception and year 6. At Chepstow House, we encourage children to become positive, responsible individuals, who can work and cooperate with others while developing the skills and knowledge needed to reach their full potential.

With the support of our subject specialists, our children receive excellent outcomes, and achieve their goals and aspirations in and out of the classroom. Our subject specialists are essential in helping pupils find and cultivate their specific talents and interests, and by sharing their passion for the subject, our dedicated teachers deliver lessons that are challenging and inspirational. Small class sizes and support staff help to maximise assimilation across learning areas.
