The Art Department is an exciting, vibrant and creative hub at the heart of the school. All pupils from reception to year 7 enjoy specialist weekly lessons and a number of clubs are run after school for those who want to explore their creative potential further. All pupils have sketchbooks in which they are encouraged to develop drawing and painting techniques and to research the work of other artists or the art of other cultures. Gallery trips are a regular feature in the life of the department and pupils also prepare work for competitions. Exciting pupil work such as large scale mosaics is on display throughout the school.
