Lots of fun was had by year 4 at Little Canada. They travelled down to Portsmouth by coach, then hopped on the ferry to the Isle of Wight. When they arrived at the activity centre, they were greeted by the group leader, Royce. He gave them a tour of the site, before they sat down for lunch. The food at Little Canada was great, there was so much choice and they catered for all of the dietary needs. After lunch they headed off to the first lots of activities, the exhilarating zip wire and tunnel trails. Finally, theyheaded for evening dinner, before seeing the cabins for the first time and unpacking their bags. The evening activity was the campfire, where everyone sang songs and listened to stories. For the rest of the week, the students challenged themselves to do a variety of activities such as the challenge course, Jacob’s ladder and kayaking. During these activities they demonstrated that they are resilient, they persevere, they are respectful and are, of course, excellent team members.
