This term’s PERFORM workshop was based on the wonderful story of Peter Pan and his adventures in Neverland. The year 1 and 2 students firstly met Peter Pan himself who guided them through a tour of the nursery where Wendy kept watch and Nana the dog was asleep before the magical journey began. Students learnt how to perform a freeze frame (a frozen image) and captured the key moments from Peter Pan’s adventure. Once in Neverland, the students met the terrifying Captain Hook and succeeded in taking back all of his stolen treasure by staying as still as statues whenever Hook entered the room. From pirates to mermaids, the students became a range of characters in this lively and energetic workshop.
