Vroom, vroom! Year 1 were transported back to the year 1900 at the London Museum of Transport this week. The children learnt what it was like to get around the city 100 years ago, compared to the transport that we use today. They rode on the first ever steam train, which was underground and discussed what mode of transport they take to school now. It was unanimously agreed that it would be more fun to be pulled around by horses, until they found out that children had to clean up after the horse poo!
