On Tuesday, the Woodpecker class took the annual Remembrance Day assembly. It gave the children an insight into what the day signifies and how we observe this important event. They explained why we wear a poppy on our blazers to school and what the different colours on the poppy represent, as well as reminding everyone that it is 100 years since the end of World War 1. Year 2 then spent the week selling poppies at the front of the school.
As always, thank you for your support in our charity events.
