World Book Day

This week we celebrated World Book Day. This is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly it’s a celebration of reading. Chepstow House joined over 100 other countries across the world, coming together with children of all ages to appreciate reading. The school corridors were awash with familiar characters, including Alice and the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland, Wally and Wenda from Where’s Wally?, Charlie and Willy Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and many, many more. World Book Day has been a particularly exciting day for Chepstow House children because we are in the midst of our read-a-thon! We look forward to totalling the sponsorship and finding out how much money we have raised for our school charities, Stand by Me and the Harrow Club.

Take a look at the photos from World Book Day and see how many characters you can recognise.
