Nursery Visit to Forest School

Is there a better way to blow away the January cobwebs than spending the day in the forest? Nursery had an action packed day at Forest School last week. They played an extensive game of hide and seek with some of the more adventurous climbing through holly and brambles to really make sure they couldn’t be seen. They learnt about hibernation and the types of animals that might be sleeping in the forest in the winter. Some amazing den building took place with the children making sure hedgehogs would be safe from foxes in their dens! Hot chocolate was enjoyed by all and certainly appreciated on the rather chilly but exhilarating outing.
