Yoga
Although yoga has enjoyed popularity with adults for many years, it is only recently that we have come to understand how helpful it can be for children in their formative years. Yoga develops in children an awareness of themselves and their potential. It helps to promote mental and physical calm and aids concentration. It should also be fun. Using stories, imagery, games and references that the children come up with themselves, we will cover all aspects of yoga – asana (posture), pranayama (mindful breathing) relaxation and meditation.
